Yeah, I thought that might have been the case, by your question. Their response was then what sealed it for me that it was quite possibly a scam, at best though, they kind of missed the mark on what they were saying they are trying to do.
Not a bad concept, just missed the delivery. Thinking on that, it doesn't sound to me that a group of experienced writers who have built successful newsletters in their own right would have made these kind of mistakes.
